Context: Casey James Lawhorn, 23, confessed via Social Media on 9 April 2018 that he had murdered his mother Vi Lawhorn and his close friend Avery Gaines (23) earlier that night. He explained that he had been suicidal for a long time and didn't want his mother to suffer under his death; his friend apparently only had to die because he stayed the night to go playing Magic the Gathering with Casey the next day. Afterwards posting his farewell letter on Facebook, he died from a self-inflicted gunwound. His last wish was that people don't feel sorry for him, but instead give all their support to his brother Chad.
