I say gamergate, for me, is not about ethical journalism in gaming. That's too far gone ot save.
This is about routing out proselytizers and moral chastisers, and gutting the political biases that have crept into the media as of late. Removing the pomposity of the "artistic genre" from being mixed in with other games, essentially stopping art from being made with the requirement it be never critiqued or assessed by a critical eye.
That's what the movement stands for to me. Gaming journo bloggers can have the bloated carcass as advertising mouthpieces. May they stew in the rotting pulp for all of time.
