Furries / Furry - I believe it

It's always and odd thing I've noticed. I think there's generally more furry art of female characters or hetero-focused porn, but it seems like most open furries I see are also gay. Especially on Youtube, lotta gay furries on Youtube.

As for furry art making you gay, I suppose it could be a buffer kind of thing. Since they aren't strictly human, it might be easier for someone to note some kind of attractiveness on a much wider spectrum that then leads to them noticing those traits in actual human characters. At the very least acting as a kind of slow burn to help them realize their own bi/homo-sexual tastes.

With all that said, I just find the idea that someone at a university wanted to do a study on the sexual orientation of furries to be pretty funny.

The furry community is very accepting and non-judgemental towards people who feel/are socially ostracized. For the most part many LGBT people still grow up feeling socially isolated from their peers and family. Even if that family is accepting and understanding, many still hide themselves out of fear of being socially outcast.

Combine these two effects and you can see why much of the furry community is LGBT.
