Robin Thicke to Pay $7.4M in Copyright Lawsuit

In one of the year's first high-profile copyright lawsuits in Hollywood, an eight-member jury at a court in Los Angeles unanimously ruled that Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams had indeed lifted the tune from Marvin Gaye's 1977 hit song for their 2013 summer hit "Blurred Lines," awarding the Gayes' family $7.4 million in restitution.
