A bit of a sad news for '90s tweens: Xanga, that other surviving relic of social networking and blogging from the same era as Myspace and LiveJournal may be shutting down in the coming weeks unless they can raise $60,000 in crowdfunding to cover their operation costs.

You can read founder John Hiler's official Xanga blog post here and check out the fundraising site if you want to help out. In the mean time, let us go back in time to the good old days of getting grounded and posting angsty ramblings. Can you recall any old school memes from Xanga? Is Xanga worthy of a site entry?
