Hello KYM researchers,

I would like to start a new group discussion & research project to expand our coverage of notable websites, online communities (and some web-based apps) in the meme world.

You can find the list of all site entries in the database here.

Now, as for site entries we're missing, please keep the following in mind when submitting ideas:

A site is defined as a website (ex: Gawker), online forum community (ex: 4chan) or media/service platform (Tumblr, Instagram) that has played or plays a notable role in internet culture, hosts a community relevant to the internet or provides a web-based service. A site entry requires proof of significant influence or active involvement in at least one meme or event that has been documented by Know Your Meme.

I'll start off with these two: eBay (relevant entries) and Amazon (relevant entries)
