KYM Workshop: Ill-Timed or Unflattering Celebrity Photos

Okay, so you might have heard about BuzzFeed's unflattering screencaps of Beyonce during her halftime performance on Super Bowl Sunday, and how her publicist has accidentally barbara streisand the whole thing.

We've all seen similar "ill-timed photos" of athletes from the 2012 Olympics and I'm pretty sure capturing & sharing photos of celebrities in an unflattering way has been a thing for sometime (ex: "I came", Crying Dawson).

I've also seen similar screencaps of Japanese / Korean idols being used as flame bait by anti-fans.

Should we look into this phenomenon as a subgenre of perfectly timed photos?
