On many Source Film-Maker videos on YouTube, there are a number of Scout-related comment chains taking full advantage of the fact that YouTube now displays the commenter's avatar next to their comment.
I think that we may have a new fad on our hands, Mentlegen.

I have seen even more from the same accounts, believe me. In every Gmod video, they make some sort of.."Family meeting"

It's not only Scout Avatars. People have done it with Vaas, Walter White, and other people.

I can confirm this on practically every SFM or gmod video, some of these are pretty funny, and they all call each other brothers etc..

Yep, let's see how this goes, it could spread all across ordinary videos on Youtube.

i think the meme should be about the roleplayers in youtube since the show avatar function was added

Well It started in Garry Mod videos with general Rubberfruit-like humor, such as screaming and nonsense such as people farting to fly ,eating themselves, an insane amount of explotions that would make Michael Bay proud, etc..
And now they are spreading to SFM videos, I just found this in Mann VS Martians

EDIT: I must say that this is scary, the number of "scot" accounts KEEPS growing

That's from "MY BRAND!". It's also the first scout chain ever made and the one which originated all the other chains.

Ever since youtube allowed thumbnail pic avatars for user comments, I've been seeing a insane rise of Scout avatars….ton of them…same pose, different hats, outfits, photoshops, etc…

Time to start an entry for this.

This is the best thing ever to happen in the comments section on Youtube.

So then this (https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/scout-face) happened and we (me for posting a thread about it, you guys for uploading the images) didn't get any credit for it.
Not cool, I would've at least liked a mention of the thread.

I mean come on, the face isn't even called 'scout face' it's 'derp scout'.
