Eh, I think I am gonna give up gaming if the industry does not get its shit together, seriously every game is like copypasta now.

E3 starts in 15 hours or so. I'm hoping for good things from Nintendo, but what I also hope is that Gaben shows up to teach n00byp4n75 developers how games are made.

So that's the official name of the NGP huh. Well personally, I'm looking forward to it as a competent system. Sony has a history of releasing better versions of Nintendo products, and I really hope the Vita lives up to expectations.

People can still use it for another things with community made drivers, but Microsoft will most likely pull the plug on that before it it actually becomes useful.

Nintendo just announced Wiiu
Apparently adding superscripted letters to established console names is their new format.

EDIT: Also just announced the opening of the 3DS shop!

Free Excitebike too. Maybe it's their way of apologizing for taking so long to get the shop up.

sigh so I guess there's no point in hoping for a Nintendo Puu? There goes that hope down the toilet…

With all the wiicrap like the motionplus, wii balance board and now wiiu, they should really focus their effort on developing the first 8th generation console and really get ahead. Or even better, make something SUPERIOR to Sony/Microsoft consoles, even when they finally get around to developing 8th gen versions. Another thing they should improve is the terrible multiplayer/online mechanics like friend codes and such. Really, can't we all just have something like a PSN or XBL? For a company that tries to make things user friendly and approachable, they really failed there. BUT the nintendo spotlight isn't over yet, maybe some better news will be coming up.
EDIT: Oh, it's actually a new console? Well I have no opinion until I see the specs.

Wii U is the first 8th generation console

MW3: REGURGITATED COMBAT
I know I'm gonna get flamed, but really, what was that?
-Sneaking through a marine vehicle: COD4
-Almost-on-rails boat driving sequence: MW2
-Sub missile launch: MW2
-Attack on homeland: MW2 (but now IN THE OCEAN!)
MW3 multiplayer pix
Also only like 2 new guns so far.
That preview actually made me want to get the game less.

This was a small review I wrote on Nintendo's Press Conference that I posted on facebook:

Overall, I liked Nintendo's Press Conference.
They started with a beautiful orchestrated version of the Zelda: Skyward Sword theme. And as if it wasn't already obvious, they started talking about Zelda. Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto took to the stage and talked about how this year was The Legend of Zelda's 25th Anniversary.

Wow, 25 years. 25 long years had passed since we first heard the famous line, "It's dangerous to go alone, take this!" 25 long years since we heard that famous 8-bit "item get" jingle. 25 years since we finally took that silver arrow to Gannon and helped link get to Zelda's upside-down triforce(bow chika bow-wow). ;)

We then saw what Nintendo had in store to celebrate this tremendous feat. The official OoT soundtrack for the first few who register Skyward Sword with Club Nintendo, the official Skyward Sword Soundtrack, a GOLDEN Wiimote with the Skyward Sword Logo on it when you buy Skyward Sword, Zelda: Link's Awakening for free to download, and a live orchestra tour Nintendo will host that will play all of the Zelda Music in regions around the world. (Similar to Final Fantasy's Tour De Japon.)

Now, enough of Zelda an on to Nintendo's official mascot, Mario. Not only is Mario Kart coming to the 3DS, but a whole new Mario adventure will as well. It will make full use of the 3DS's capabilities. We are also going to get a Luigi's Mansion 2 for the 3DS.
Also coming to the 3DS is a hero who hasn't had a game since back when I was in middle school. I'm pretty sure you remember this now famous meme, "DO A BARREL ROLL!" Star Fox is now back in action on the 3DS!

Also coming to the 3DS is Kid Icarus: Uprising. I saw the trailer for it and the bit of gameplay they showed, and it looks pretty damn fun! Also, I love how they have online multiplayer. 3 vs 3 playable demos were availiable at E3's booths.

And finally, what we have all been waiting for……….the WiiU. The controller looks a bit bulky, but that is because of the 6.2 inch screen built into the controller. We can now keep playing even if some douchebag comes in and wants to play his eggs-bawks 360. Just simply start using the WiiU controller and keep on playing 'till your freaking eyes bleed!

Final Tally:

The best of E-3 goes to Nintendo. Nintendo is E3 champion for 2 years running. Sony, is still the runner up, and Microsoft is still dead last.

Nice post! I don't think people on facebook would really appreciate something well written like this though.
On a side note, I am getting a KINECT OVERLOAD! Microsoft is really humiliating themselves this year. Again. IMO, anyway. GOW 3 was a nice reveal though!

Still pretty good. If you write any kind of review at all, you are more sophisticated than 70% of the internet.

Thanks for the opinion, I actually typed that up while suffering from insomnia, being awake for 40 hours until I finally got some sleep.

E3 is a killer every year, mainly because of budget issues- so much to buy in the future, so many bills taking priority…

Regardless, I hope halo 4 is decent. I REALLY don't want this to become another runaway series. The Wii U looks innovative, but will also probably be buried in the 3rd party dump AGAIN.

I'm hoping for Star Fox and hopefully F-Zero UX

I wouldn't say that, although they didn't have much to offer besides Halo 4. Btw that gif is really funny.
