Once upon a time, when I was just a little boy, I used to own this game and would play it fairly often. It's wasn't the best game, no, but it was good enough and I had fun with it. Then one day, my family moved and we lost the manual. I was pretty upset but I had another game by the same company, so I used that game's manual to look up their address (this was in the days before you could just look up stuff online since the internet as we know it did not exist).
I wrote to the company (with some help of my father) explaining how much I loved the game and how sad I was that I lost the manual in the move. I asked if there was a way if I could purchase another one from them.
A few weeks later, I received a small envelope in the mail. It didn't have anything except for one thing.
A brand new manual.
And that's how without a word a faceless company touched my heart as a child. Thanks, Midway.
