Yaaaay? I mean, ignoring how forced it was, it's not like it's going anywhere. Way to have it at the very end of the series, right? Comparing it to things like Aang and Katara, who developed it over the course of the show. Or even Korra and Mako (as bad as it was) didn't just wait for a single moment at the end for things to happen.

I suppose there's also how, even with how forced it was, it was decidedly tame. Why not a little kiss? Full-blown makeout session? Really drive that fanservice home!

All in all, I really don't care that much. I had already made peace with how fanservicy Book 4 was, and it's not like it'll continue to make the relationship be utterly stupid like they did with Mako. Just seems like people are going a little too crazy for it. As well as a dumb way for it to be the finale point for it all to end on.

Also, doesn't Clarence have a same-sex couple in it? Wouldn't that mean something more? Especially since it's not obviously trying to just spark something with the fandom.
