What I Watched / What I Expected / What I Got - Valkyria Chronicles

Explanation here, by the cover and art style Valkyria Chronicles seems like a cute girls with guns and playing war games, however instead the game is a very tactical Action RPG (is like X Com: enemy unknown) who is set in a world that parallels ours in the second world war, with an analogue for Nazis, concentration camps. The game clearly shows than war is hell with every side suffering losses. Also because of the animation style there is not a lot of gore when somebody dies (and they do a lot) so the antiwar message is not deteriorated by unnecessary violence. As for the forty cakes pictures, the game can be unintentionally hilarious due some instances of poor translation and voice acting
