Also, if it is child porn Hotwheels is covered as long as he or his admins delete it as soon as he is informed, which he did.

But Dan & co are fucked for downloading and redistributing it even if they called the Mounties, which they didn't.

Not to mention the legal differences between the two countries, it's easily possible that it wasn't child porn in America, but is child porn in Canada (i.e. where Dan lives.).
