I'm a girl, but I'm not a Feminist girl. Why not? Because feminism is not even remotely attractive. Because I believe girls should be themselves, and not just one demographic. Because I recognize that a true fight against gender inequality does not involve the harrass ment and oppression of men and minorities. Because I believe in equalitv. Because I've actually done my verifiable, esearch to locate reliable information about the topic. Because the individual is the smallest minority I am an individual I am not like every other girl I do not like the same things as every other girl I believe there should be a variety of hair styles to match the variety of girls.

"Do you think that women should have the same rights and standard of living as men? Then congratulations, you're a feminist."

None of this third-wave "MEN ARE THE VIRGIN DEVIL NAZIS INCARNATE CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE" crap.

But feminism isn't a monolithic movement. The whole reason why feminism has all these different flavors is because, at its core, feminism is supposed to improve the female condition. That's it. To what extent? To the level of men (equality)? Greater than men? To the explicit detriment of men?

The people in these aforementioned strands? They're also feminists. They're really stupid and should never have the right to speak about anything, but they're still feminists on technicality.

(Yeah, this is a departure from what I used to think on the matter…)
