Yes, call us pathetic. Live in your little world of denial because you obviously can not grasp what has ben unleashed. Lock yourself on high in your ivory tower whilst we chip at it's foundations. Even if it takes an eternity we will bring it crashing down.

We are gamers. We spend our time playing games. Games in which it is all too often that a hero is faced with odds so long they might as well be insurmountable. Does this stop them, does this stop us, no. We fight, we struggle, we push ever onward to beat those odds. And the real kicker, we enjoy every second of it. We pit ourselves against each other and against the toughest challenges that developers can throw at us. Hell, we mod games because the presented challenge isn't challenging enough.

And now the corrupted gaming journos have decided to turn against us, call us dead, slander our names, censor and insult us and pretend that we don't exist. Well congratulations, you have just united one of the most, if not the most, diverse group of people in the world against you. Men and women (or whatever you choose to identify as, it matters little) of all races, orientations, statuses, faiths, political leanings, states of mind, all united against you.
