After looking at a bunch of other comparison screenshots, I say "poo" to those who still think the N64 original "looks better" (it's only your nostalgia that's making it "look better" because you're not just wearing rose tinted glasses, you've got a Star Trek styled visor on). The textures are more detailed and much less muddy looking (though of course the 3DS is still only around Gamecube/Wii level of power so don't expect "HD textures"), character models are more detailed and more animated, the lighting engine has been updated to look more natural, the altered designs for some areas actually look better IMO (like the gates leading out of Clock Town aren't just rectangles, they have a new rounded shape with different colored outlines, and the gates outside of the Deku Palace are now sharp pointed logs instead of the generic "squared gates"), and of course the framerate, like OoT 3D, has been ramped up from 20-something FPS to a smooth 60 FPS (you can watch the trailer on YouTube in 60FPS to see it for yourself).

Heck I'd go as far as to say that what little bit we've seen so far shows that this game looks to be getting a more significant graphical upgrade than OoT 3D got.

Ya know, I just realized something; Around the time that OoT got its remake, it had the Master Quest version of it bundled in. What I'm wondering is if MM would have a Master Quest version of it as well? If so…those f***ing ice and water temples…

To the pic; Who cares about the direction of the door? Modern-day Majora's Mask! :D
