It confuses me… to know that both commenters below me probably never played Duck Duck Goose.

It's a shame… it's a really fun game with a lot of people…

Unfortunately, if you're older than 10, it just seems awkward to play it, seeing how doing any activity like this as an adult would be… weird.

It's a children's game. A bunch of kids sit in a circle and another kid (the kid that's "it") circles around behind them and taps each kid on the head. Every time the kid taps a head he says "duck" until he taps a head and says "goose" (or grey duck if you're in Minnesota apparently) and the kid marked as the "goose" has to chase the "it" kid around the circle of children. If the "it" kid makes it around the circle and sits in the spot the goose was in then the goose now becomes "it". If the goose catches the kid and tags him then that kid is still "it" and has to start over again
