They NEVER fucking say how or why Gamergate is responsible for any harassment or death threats. Because they never fucking have to to get their damn sheep following them. All it takes is their magical word misogyny and the flock falls in line. This horse shit makes me more disillusioned about dealing with actual misogyny out there. When Anita's kickstarter was first announced way back when when no one knew who the fuck she was I thought it might be a cool idea. There are certainly times I have to let out a heavy sigh and roll my eyes when I see women in games made up in ways that are just kinda stupid. Like when I see a full set of plate armor on a male character in WoW and then that same set of plate armor on a female model but with it cut down to the cleavage for no particular reason.

Now that I see how these assholes act when you give them an inch I'd just as well let the real misogyny fester out there for all I care. There are real problems out there, but if you give these asshats like Anita and company any ammo to deal with it before long you and anyone who questions them is the problem.
