Aaaaah, nonono, I'm telling shit. I quickly checked and we call that "pain perdu". It translate to "lost bread", because when the bread is hard and not good anymore to eat, we can use it in order to cook that. It's pretty good actually. "Mouillettes" would be when you soak a piece of fesh bread in an egg and eat it progressively. Don't know if I'm clear, but you get the idea
