So she comes up to me and asks me, "Do you think girls can be fighters, too?" And her mom looks like she's silently gloating. Like she thinks I'm going to say no. So l take off my hood, untie my hair so that it flows freely, and kneel before her. And I'm like, "Milady, anyone can be a fighter." I swear, the look on that mother's face made my day

I went to a Scottish Highland games festival, and they had a few armored warriors fighting, and they were letting visitors take swing at them with a broadsword. I said I wanted a go, and they were all "Oooooooh a giiiiiiiiiirl" mocking me, but I faked them out and was the only person who managed to land a hit anywhere that wasn't against a shield. They shut up real fast.
Anyone can be a fighter.
