See, this is probably why I'll never get a tattoo: I can't think of anything that means so much to me that I want an image of it permanently inked into my skin. Can't decide if that's freeing, or just really sad.
Psychology is a fickle thing, that's all I can say without assuming things. For some people, it takes time to find solace in heavily-restricting disabilities (e.g. Total deafness, blindness, both), for others, it's automatic, like Tommy Edison.
