It's making fun of how unoriginal and cliched most Ruined Childhood ideas are. The use of "blasted" instead of "ruined" is similar to the use of changing "you mad?" into "troubled?" or other such things with fake troll faces. Personally, I'd switch drugs with violence, but that's just me.
