Oh I could just image how that board meeting would go.
"Hey you know how the fans have been wanting us to make a remake of the Gen3 Pokémon games?"
"Yeah."
"And you know how they'd be willing to pretty much pay anything for it."
"Go on."
"And you know how we could make more merchandise and milk the fans for even more money?"
