Honestly, you just copy and paste the url of the pic(usually ending in a .jpg, .gif, .png etc.) and add a ! to the beginning and end of the url.

for instance, the url of this page is: https://knowyourmeme.com/photos/741042-tumblr

you would not use that. You would use the actual image url which is:
https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/741/042/0da.png

When you add a ! to both sides of the picture you get this:
