I’m not saying that they should reverse it. At this point, that would be the biggest cop-out imaginable, after how much they hyped it up. I actually feel almost neutral about the wings by now.

I’m only saying that after seeing a spell that transforms ponies into a different race entirely being handled so casually, that Twilicorn seems minor by comparison. This actually makes me feel better about it.

And personally, for the record, I don’t believe her ascension was forshadowed since the beginning of the series. I was under the impression that Celestia was supposedly training her to control her powers, not grooming her to be a princess. The only time something like that was ever really even hinted at was during the Crystal Empire two-parter, and even then it was really vague.
