My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Too many people are losing their s---, and this here journal has a point.

I don't dislike Flash 'cause he's a potential love interest; that's not even scratching the surface. I dislike Flash 'cause he's Mr. Perfect. There's not a single flaw to his character. To top it all off, the guy plays electric guitar and drives a sporty-ass car. I mean, really? He's bland and cliched, plain and simple.

All that being said, I don't think the reaction to his cameo would've been nearly as negative had Meghan not made her promise in the first place that we wouldn't be seeing him in Season 4. Because she did, some bronies feel justifiably betrayed, though she doesn't claim responsibility. Some animator probably took some artistic liberties and decided to throw him in there for the hell of it (and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same animator that first derped Derpy's eyes in the series premiere), but that's just my take on the whole thing.

Personally I think people who complain about drama (posts like that journal entry) are worse than the ones who actually voice their issues with the various topics of the show. Not everyone is going to like everything, and I think it's perfectly within their rights to voice those opinions. Obviously, those opinions should be given with a certain level of tact and respect which isn't always met, but my point still stands that the drama-queens who whine about constant drama are themselves causing most of it.
