That there is a devil ray. They're in the family Myliobatidae and are closely related to Manta and Spotted Eagle rays. Another thing that ties all these rays together is that they do not have stingers of any kind, so they're all relatively harmless.

What you are seeing here is a behavior common to these rays, breaching. No one's certain as to why they do it, but as you can see it's fucking awesome to watch. Now imagine a 30ft manta ray doing it, which they totally do.
