In the criminal justice system of fiction, the people are represented by four separate yet equally important groups: the police who sit around eating fucking donuts all day; the Batman who investigates the crimes and beats up the criminals; the prosecutors who act like smug jerks while prosecuting obviously innocent people; and Phoenix Wright, who defends the innocent, finds the real criminal, and doesn't get paid shit for any of it.
