It's funny because it's true. If they had a scene in the Show where Vinyl is singing the 80's the fanbase would be screaming PANDA RING!!!

Personally I don't mind "Pandering" unless one day there's a very unsubtle shoutout to bronies (like literally mentioning the word 'brony' in the show) THAT'S where I draw the line. But the fact that everyone will complain about one pandering and the other one isn't (even though the comics "panders" more than the show could ever dream of) well……..

Sadly this is true.
I don't care for background ponies/trixie or jokes the fandom creates, but i have no problem with fandom nods as long as it doesn't interferes with the story or creates plot holes, and that goes for BOTH show and comics, i think it's stupid to treat the show differently, the show and the comics are friends not enemies.
