My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Say what you will, but I loved EqG so much, I wanted a spin-off show of it, Ill have to make due with this

Forgive me for once again filling the role of skeptical guy (I really miss the days when I felt like the optimist in this gallery), but I'd just really love it if this show could shift the focus back to ponies, above EqG.
I haven't seen EqG, nor have I read any reviews or pursued any information regarding its quality, but to be honest I just don't really care. I just don't feel any interest toward it. And of course, I understand that it's cool for people who liked EqG, that they are getting more stuff for it, but…

I just would really like it if the creators of My Little Pony could make content with ponies in it.

Will MLP ever get a movie that takes place in Equestria? Perhaps involve all of the interesting backstory that this world already has, like the Changelings and Crystal Ponies and Discord's origins and the Three Tribes?

I sure would love something like that. It'd be very, very nice.

Well, you should take note that this screenshot of the article also said that there will be more books on the pony characters, more (presumably pony) plushies, Build-a-bear pony merch, and not to mention the already existing IDW comics/micro series and season 4 readily on its way. There is plenty of content with just ponies. If you're just referring to movies by the franchise, well, I think we're just gonna have to accept that not every fan is going to be pleased at once
