You think THAT'S bad you should check out the official MLP facebook page before the bronies got there. It was all Soccer moms and when they were promoting Friendship is Magic (Still hasn't been released) all of them were complaining about how bad it looks and how they wouldn't allow their little girls to watch it.

Anyways I have a message for this woman, Ahem. People thought G1 (Okay not all, I still never watched it though) through 3.5 were horrible. Now they made a show that's actually GOOD and doesn't revolve around tea parties and dress up in every episode, god it's fucking simple!!!

It's the same kind of butthurt one sees when a formerly "indie" band or singer becomes mainstream and the earlier fans gripe endlessly on Youtube that the fandom of somehow the music itself is ruined. I've never gotten this. How do more people liking something you like have any effect at all on what you liked to begin with?

As a little girl, I loved the G1 pony toys but felt "meh" towards the movies and show. The FIM has been nothing but awesome. I love the shows, and finally, some cool toys are starting to come out (Derpy hellsyeah). Doesn't mean I suddenly hate the G1 pony toys. Do these few G1 fans really think their G1 pony toys are going to melt suddenly in their collector boxes now that other people like G4 or what?
