Oddly enough, we pretty much owe Transformers for MLP.
Only after Bay's movie raked in the dough did Hasbro decide to re-boot a bunch of their franchises, including bringing Faust in for our ponies.
If they made a crazy alien-filled, explosion-fest movie in the FiM world, I would probably laugh my ass off… then go see it a dozen or so times.

Sorry for saying this but…

Fuck Michael Bay, fuck Stephen Sommers, fuck big budget American releases. They all suck. Amazing how a small animation studio can do better than this multi-million dollar bullcrap.
