Details on the scrapped Gym Leader Building Feature meant for Pokémon Sun and Moon's Postgame

Z-Moves were known as "Aura Boost" at one point in Gen 7's development. Aura Brace and Aura Prisms was the name of the Z-Ring and Z-Crystals respectively, and instead of Z-Power, energy from the trainers would've been transferred to the mons.

Forwarded In Niji's development stages, Z-Moves went through several name changes. One specific one was Aura Boost. With Aura Boost, the Pokemon would be enveloped in a special aura during battle until the effects wear off. The Z-Ring and Z-Crystals were known as the Aura Brace and Aura Prisms Instead of Z-Power, energy from the trainers themselves would be transferred over to the Pokemon.

Per internal documents, Pokémon Sun and Moon was intended to be the first pair of Pokémon games with DLC in order to take advantage of being 20th anniversary titles.

Z-Moves were known as "Aura Boost" at one point in Gen 7's development. Aura Brace and Aura Prisms was the name of the Z-Ring and Z-Crystals respectively, and instead of Z-Power, energy from the trainers would've been transferred to the mons.

Per internal documents, Pokémon Sun and Moon was intended to be the first pair of Pokémon games with DLC in order to take advantage of being 20th anniversary titles.
