I think you're kinda blindly optimistic to think a mainstream studio would ever try a mostly silent movie, especially with how kids are nowadays with all the brainrot content that's been dumbing them down, so we should be thankful if the average movie can even hold their attention for more than 15 minutes. You could argue WALL-E tried that, but it was really only the first 20 minutes or so that were mostly silent and even then the robots still talked, even if their speech was limited. Studios would find it simply too risky and wouldn't have the balls to try something like that.

Like, think about Homeward Bound, and which version has maintained a place in people's hearts; the 60's version where the animals were silent or the 90's version where they had celebrity voices? And yes, Homeward Bound is a remake of a 60's movie called The Incredible Journey, which has fallen into obscurity so hard that even people who are old enough to have been kids when the 60's version came out are surprised to learn the 90's version is a remake.
