Gardevoirs get REALLY attached to their trainers so when the trainer dies a gardevoir either: 1 commits peaceful self deletion, 2 goes on a suicidal rampage, 3 steals the corpses and goes into hiding or best case scenario 4 just hangs around their trainers grave till they themselves expire.

These one seems to have taken option 3.
