Biggest whataboutism possible, and not even factually correct. I can't think of any other states besides Germany, the Soviet Union, Japan, and the Ottoman Empire which commited genocide on a scale of millions in the 1st half of the 20th century.
I'm getting tired of tankies trying downplay genocide. It fortunately was a horrible exception, not the norm, even in the 1930s.
For soviet being anti-fascist, they were trying to emulate similar things to fascist/far wing regimes. Such as totalitarianism, enthic genocide(Ukraine for the most famous example), militarism, proganda spreading, terrorism support(okay america did that as well). Horse shoe theory is strong.
