Paper Mario - In Super Paper Mario, it is possible for Mario to become trapped in a claustrophobic situation, squished by the ceiling in a room barely larger than himself and unable to use the door to get out.

Super Paper Mario contains a group of tiny stores called Itty Bits that are only accessible by using the Pixl Dottie's ability to shrink in size. If Mario flips into 3D, starts entering an Itty Bits store, and then the player opens the menu on the last frame before Mario enters the door, it is possible to switch from Dottie to another Pixl, whereupon Mario will enter the store and grow to normal size simultaneously. This causes Mario to become squished by the room's low ceiling, as well as traps him in the room as it disables Pixl switching. This makes him unable to switch back to Dottie to shrink enough to use the door.
