I recently watched a show that had a 2:1 aspect ratio and it was extremely frustrating. The format made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the content as the picture felt cramped and the visual elements were not as impactful as they could have been. While the story and acting were good, the 2:1 aspect ratio was a major distraction and detracted from the overall enjoyment of the show. I would hope that in future productions, the creators and producers will consider how the aspect ratio can enhance or detract from the viewing experience and make a more thoughtful decision when choosing the format.
