I suppose one could replace the onset of "Hex" with many of the 23 consonants in English that can start a word to find all sorts of variants.
"S"ex Maniac is too obvious.
"T"ex Maniac sounds like a rodeo cowgirl.
"Ch"ex Maniac would have a fondness for snack mixes?
"V"ex Maniac would maybe be a fan of the obscure platformer Vexx?
"R"ex Maniac = dinosaur lover.

I could go on. It's fun to think about, though.
