And while orcas are more closely related to dolphins than they are whales (the "killer whale" name is an inaccurate translation of what ancient sailors called them, which was "whale killers" since orcas will even kill whales larger than themselves), orcas are less dangerous to humans than dolphins. I said this once in another image about dolphins, but while dolphins have been known to try and rape humans if they find them attractive, orcas appear to view humans the same way humans view cats and dogs. They don't view us as prey, but rather as creatures they find "interesting." Even worth noting that the only known cases of orcas harming humans were the infamous Sea World incidents where the orcas lashed out due to years of poor treatment (and why Sea World is forbidden from engaging in any more captive breeding programs for orcas).
