You can, look at what happened at Afghanistan.

You can't use tanks, jets, drones, missiles and nukes in the land you already own, when the land is already conquered, to fight the resistance, you need foot soldiers, small guns and small vehicles.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

What's going down in Ukraine is exactly the kind of situation the founding fathers had in mind. We have debates about gun control in America because we don't have a frontier anymore and we aren't in danger of being invaded. But out in Kyiv? Where a free State is being threatened by an invading army? The regular army is doing the best they can, but this is the Militia's time to shine
