I dont get people who defend Abrams decision to bring Palpatine back by saying he had no choice cause Snoke died. So his solution to an important character dying, was to bring another character back from the dead with no explanation.

He literally could have just done that with Snoke and the same half assed explanation would have still worked. And it also wouldn't have ruined the entire saga.

Also he could have just brought Snoke back and said he was Plagueis. And just go with the explanation that he really could save himself from death, but stayed in the shadows waiting for his former apprentice to screw up. IDK, its something, better than what we got imo.
