Alright I'm gonna anti-meme here for a bit, but for as grandiose the FE series has grown (and deservingly so), I can't help but feel the attack animations, more specifically the criticals, have missed the same level of polish. The GBA games to this date (in my opinion) have the best critical art animations of the series, full stop.

The fluidity, the impact, the anticipation, all of those key animation fundamentals, it ticked every box to the max. It's a shame to me that Three Houses can't hold a candle in that regard to titles that came out 15 years before it.

Just have a gander if you don't believe me.
