Meanwhile at this rate I'm going to die before I see a 4K-capable setup in person (monitor/gpu/internet connection combo), prices for LEDs went out of wack in the last years (dollar exchange import shenanigans), GPUs are unbuyable unless you're actually sponsored by being a streamer or progamer, so many will remain on 720p/1080p for a good while.
Still, there's some uncanny magic when you get one of those 10-year-old algorithm recommendations and they have 1080p and/or 60fps available. (Bohemian Rhapsody from Muppets, 24 nov. 2009, is reportedly the oldest 1080p video on the tube, but it's COPPA'd now)
Back in the day 720p was considered the best video quality possible for Youtube videos and anything above it was almost nonexistent but this has changed nowadays were 1080p is widely available
