Just gonna leave this here. As a Canadian, I'm peeved that crap like Johnny Test (which only barely counts as Canadian TBH since most of the people who work on the show are American) have become the face of Canadian animation for Americans while actually good series like The Raccoons are left in the dustbin of obscurity.

You say that like it's a bad thing considering that traditional animation can suck too and digital animation can be fantastic in that right hands.

That said, there actually is a legit reason for most Canadian cartoons to be digitally animated these days. Canadian content policies mean that most Canadian cartoons have to be animated in Canada rather than some sweatshop in Korea to be considered Canadian content. Most Canadian animation studios specialize in digital animation (like Mercury Filmworks and Jam-Filled Entertainment); In fact, a number of digitally-animated American cartoons are also animated in Canada, like Wander Over Yonder and The Loud House.
