Unpopular opinion but I agree with this comic.

At this point it's just brands and people jumping on the bandwagon for virtue points.

On the other hand, I'd like to believe some business/company CAN have a soul and care about the community. Yes, they sell things because that's what they do. But they can also listen to their customers and feeback and do better (not a soulless being that just targets your wallet), and I will happily buy their stuff if they continue produce good quality shit that makes life worth living.
