Environmentalists are usually Authoritarian, telling the Rich "No you can't bulldose that mangrove forest because of this law" is very authoritarian. Meanwhile libertarians are more than happy to consume resources with abandon because "Muh Freedums"

Now, to be fair, there are times where libertarians help the environment… unintentionally. In 2016 FPNL (big oil in Florida) tried to push an act make it so having solar panels would tax you so heavily that using fossil fuels would be the cheaper option. Environmentalists and Libertarians united to fight the act. Environmentalists wanted solar to be cheaper so it can reduce use of fossil fuels, and Libertarians because well, we all know how much they hate taxes. And in the end they won making solar super cheap and causing tons of small solar companies to pop up everywhere.

But to enforce my first point again, in 2019 The Keys banned coral unsafe sunscreen, and telling a shop they can only sell a certain type of sunscreen is very authoritarian.
