The nazis put a lot of people that showed no animosity against them in their camps. What does it matter if they died by gas, neglect or war-induced famine? They were put there by the nazi regime and therefore they are to blame for them meeting their last fate, no matter how.
Unless the character is trying to say that
1. The allies made Germany poor for NO OTHER REASON than to indirectly kill the prisoners at the camps
2. The Nazis decided to donate all of their food to the prisoners because they are just that swell and therefore the nazis did all they could to keep them from dying and their deaths are not their fault
Seriously, i don't understand this "The jews actually died because of broken supply lines" rethoric
