As much as I would like to think that this dumb argument is just a trend that will die off soon, we said the same thing about "videogames cause violence" several years ago and scientifically disproved it even more times than years it has been going, yet here we are.

Like… why do we even have science and corresponding laws at this point if people just willingly choose to ignore them and knee-jerk demonize and/or criminalize anything they personally dislike instead..? We might as well just get rid of scientists and courts of law to save money if this is the future people want.
