"Well if the fandom is so good then how come all we read about it every time they get mentioned is bad things?"
Oh, maybe because people are fucking addicted to just talking about bad stuff online..? People do good things and it can take anywhere from years to NEVER for outsiders to notice, whereas bad (or "bad") things get reported the second it happens. How many of you got to know about Markiplier's Cloak brand """controversy""" compared to how many of you know that he did a "reverse charity stream" in which he rallied his fans to donate several thousand dollars to many streamers doing charity stream themselves..? Which one do you think was covered by media far more between the 2..? See, there is your answer. Now shut up about fandoms and let them enjoy the thing they enjoy, and stop feeding sensationalist media and salty Youtubers about it.
Talentless Youtubers and dying-media journalists share a common enemy: having no real skill to actually make some good content relevant to their careers and being drowned by the competition, therefore recurring to shitting on everyone and everything else to stay afloat with clickbait and provocation alone.
